Although the plot lines have shifted from relatively harmless street racing to multi-national criminal organizations, the Fast & Furious movie series has managed to not only keep its original 2001 fan base, but appeal to moviegoers of all kinds. To me, no movie in the series will ever top the original. The Fast and the Furious inspired our entire generation of car enthusiast, and certainly influenced purchases and behaviors of myself and others once we had cars of our own. That being said, I don’t think I’ve ever been excited about one of the sequels as I have for Fast & Furious 6.
Last week, the extended trailer for F&F-6 was released. Check it out below, as well as see a few of my thoughts as I watched it for the first time. Be sure to watch in HD, it’s definitely worth the longer buffer times.
Wow, Vin Diesel is starting to get old… Turns out Mark Sinclair Vincent is 45 now.
Is the Rock going after the action hero of the decade award?… He’s in FIVE movies releasing this year AND the current WWE World Champion.
I see they added some guns and fight scenes. Completely unrelated to cars, but I love it. I guess you could call me an action movie junkie.
Letty’s back?! I was never a fan of her, but they got rid of her in such a terrible way I guess they had to bring her back to life on the bad side… Any guesses on what happens to her this movie? My bet is she turns back to the “good” side and dies all within the last 30 minutes of the movie.
They. Brought. Down. A. Plane… with cars… ‘Nuff said.
I’m beside myself with excitement for this movie. Who’s coming with me to see it at midnight on May 24th?
