Say Goodbye to Brian Scalabrine

Last week, ESPN reported that one of the NBA’s Greats hung up his jersey after a stellar 11-year career.

Brian Scalabrine a.k.a. The White Mamba has called it quits after a legendary run.  He began his career in 2001 with the New Jersey Nets, led the Boston Celtics to an NBA Champion in 2008, and decided to retire after failing to carry the Chicago Bulls out of the first round of the playoffs last May.

Today the NBA paid homage to one of the most iconic players of this generation.  Watch and enjoy a couple of the many career highlights from the man, the myth, the legend, the White Mamba.

I wish the master of the NBA Meme, and future Hall-of-Famer the best in the next step of his life as a color commentator for the Boston Celtics.
