Couture Luv, a new brand for women.

Today I got the chance to interview Ashley Williams, founder and designer of the recently launched Couture Luv clothing company.

Quim: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

AW: Well, I’m a southern girl who was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL but grew up in Atlanta, GA. I lived in Atlanta for the majority of my life until I decided to head back to Florida for college. I received my Associate’s degree from Tallahassee Community College and later advanced to Florida State University receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Child Protection. There was a time in my life when I dreamed of becoming a lawyer, but I had to follow my heart and it led me to Couture Luv. So here I am!

Quim: What does fashion mean to you?

AW: Fashion is a reflection of my life.  It has been with me and transitioned with me through the years.  There is an endless luv and history there that I could never be separated from.

Quim: How did you start in fashion, and why?

AW: I luv clothes and I just wanted to share that luv. It was a spontaneous, but a very easy decision. This was my calling.

Quim: What motivates you?

AW: Fashion. The clothing is my biggest motivation because I see what difference it can make in a person’s everyday life.  It can change people limitlessly. It makes me feel good to know that I made some beautiful girl have an awesome day because they looked and felt beautiful in my items.  Couture Luv is a way for me to spread that luv.

Quim: What is the inspiration for Couture Luv?

AW: Couture Luv is inspired by women of all ages, sizes, races, and lifestyles. We want to share the luv with them all and use our clothing to make all women feel beautiful because to Couture Luv-they all are. Pretty girls rock!

Quim: What separates Couture Luv from other clothing companies?

AW: Couture Luv is different from other clothing companies because of the affordability of our clothing. We want to give them good deals.
