Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us

Today I stumbled across an enlightening animated lecture from the The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).  This particular animation discusses drive, and what motivators yield our best results.

This animation is just one of a whole series of RSA presentations illustrated by Cognitive Media.

“The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce): an enlightenment organisation committed to finding innovative practical solutions to today’s social challenges. Through its ideas, research and 27,000-strong Fellowship it seeks to understand and enhance human capability so we can close the gap between today’s reality and people’s hopes for a better world.”

Being a visual learner I prefer to watch the animated presentations, but RSA uploads videos of all of their functionsRSA’s website also better explains their mission, contains articles & projects, and lists upcoming events.

Things like this definitely stimulate deep thought, and prompt discussion.  HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE THEORIES THIS VIDEO, OR OTHERS LIKE IT DISCUSS? Comment below.
