This past Sunday, the Grammy Family gathered together for the 54th time. Top tier names and affiliates piled onto the red carpet outside Los Angeles’ famous STAPLES Center, where the cameras and onlookers awaited some of music’s highly-favored. For most, only the ceremony is top priority – the heightened excitement to view your favorites hit the stage amongst flashing lights and surprising theatrics. For others the most thrilling encounter is that of aesthetic display. Each star compels a hit-or-miss critique from the world with simply the selection of attire. Whether it be gorgeous Vera Wang gowns or Yves Saint Laurent suits paired with premium leather loafers, to street wear brands atop washed denim and even a few pajama sets – yes, I said “pajama sets.” This year’s trend reads simple yet complex with soft-tone colors and a plethora of shiny attributes. A change from the track record of being outrageously colorful – with the exception of a few.
With stunning poise and sophisticated embellishment, stars like Rhianna, Adele (who left with six grammy’s in hand, by the way), Alicia Keys and Gwyneth Paltrow were all dolled up in beautiful black dresses, while a few others including Kelly Rowland, Ciara and Kate Beckinsale sported cream sequin gowns. A look that was complemented by a few of the worlds heart throbs, (Chris Brown, Bruno Mars and Adam Levine to name a few) pulling off a wide range of clean suits. Allowing an easy job for paparazzi to capture proper presentation. As the eyes of more than 40 million viewers tuned in for fashion inspiration, eye candy and pure entertainment the Grammy Family made sure to impress.
I have always said, “You wear the mood of your lifestyles very moment.” Whether the mood was bizarre and statements in history were sought after or the mood conjured up a respect to go all out for the wonderful, Whitney Houston (R.I.P.). No matter what it may have been, we at Quim Digital, compiled a replay of a few stunning and dapper celebs after the jump. After you’ve seen our list, be sure to let us know who made your list of remarkable standouts!
